Perhaps the most interesting track is the one from American Gypsy. They went from the States to the Netherlands in the early seventies and made some very strong funk/soul records. ‘Golden ring’ was arranged by Piet Souer who played guitar on the winning song of the Eurovision Song contest in 1969. They had a top ten hit with ‘Angel Eyes’ (written by Souer) in the Netherlands in 1974.
